SOME Malawi National Football Team, the Flames\u2019 players and officials yesterday jetted out to Morocco for strength testing matches against Mauritania and Togo from August 31.<\/p>\n
The first group, comprising Assistant Coach, Deklerk Msakakuona, Team Manager, James Sangala, Physiotherapist, Chikondi Mandalasi, players Peter Cholopi, Simeon Singa and Denis Chembezi, left through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n
Other players Yamikani Fodya, Ernest Kakhobwe, Gomegzani Chirwa and Chikoti Chirwa were expected to fly out in the evening yesterday, alongside Head Coach, Ronny van Geneugden and Leader of Delegation, James Mwenda.<\/p>\n
The remaining group is expected to fly out to Morocco tomorrow. The Flames will face Mauritania on August 31 before playing Togo on September 4.<\/p>\n
Under the Belgian, the Flames have only scored once in seven games having won 1-0 against Comoros Islands at Bingu National Stadium. He has lost three games and drawn the same number of games.<\/p>\n
In Morocco, the Belgian will also have foreign-based players including Robert Ng\u2019ambi, Charles Swini, Gerald Phiri Junior, Gabadihno Mhango and Frank Banda.<\/p>\n
