Nyasa Big Bullets interim General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, has described as \u2018very\u2019 likely the prospect of the People\u2019s Team signing Zimbabwean winger Silver Chawe.<\/p>\n
Chigoga did not go into details but caretaker Coach, Elia Kananji, Wednesday, once again, praised the blonde-haired player, formerly of Tsholotsholo FC in Zimbabwe Premier League.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think management is just waiting for us, the coaches, to give them our final nod on the player on Friday [tomorrow]. From what I have seen in training, he is the real deal,\u201d Kananji said.<\/p>\n
The coach is desperate to replace left-winger Dalitso Sailesi who signed for Lusaka Dynamos in Zambia recently.<\/p>\n
Chawe started the trials last week after being flown to Malawi by Bullets supporters who had spotted him trying his luck at Jomo Cosmos.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was undergoing trials at Jomo Cosmos and I met Bullets supporters who told me to come and play for Bullets. In the first place, I was in touch with Silver Strikers Coach, Lovemore Fazili,but those Bullets supporters were giving me pressure to come and play for the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey gave me an air ticket, I will see how I can do when it comes to contract agreement. Before going to South Africa, I was home in Zimbabwe playing for Tsholotsholo FC,\u201d the winger told The Daily Times <\/em>last week.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Bullets have welcomed from injury Captain, John Lanjesi.<\/p>\n Kananji said Lanjesi\u2019s return was a boost ahead of Sunday\u2019s Carlsberg Cup semi-final against Red Lions at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is now a full house and being captain, the return of Lanjesi has boosted morale in camp.
