The bank\u2019s Customer Experience Manager, Tamanda Longwe, speaking in an interview on the sidelines of the promotion\u2019s July draw on Thursday, said since the start of the promotion, 4,000 new accounts have been opened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis translates to over K1 billion in the accounts. We have also seen an increase in savings,\u201d\u00a0 Longwe said. She further said the promotion was one way of honouring their customers and instilling a spirit of saving and investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis promotion is the first of its kind in the country whereby we want to recognise SMEs so that they grow into corporate customers. The grand winner will win a business worth K5 million of his or her choice, hence the significance of the promotion,\u201d Longwe said.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the grand prize, the competition will see three customers in each region winning K50,000 each every month, for the duration of the promotion.
