{"id":51974,"date":"2017-08-18T10:27:38","date_gmt":"2017-08-18T08:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=51974"},"modified":"2017-08-18T10:27:42","modified_gmt":"2017-08-18T08:27:42","slug":"be-forward-wanderers-mozambique-bound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/08\/18\/be-forward-wanderers-mozambique-bound\/","title":{"rendered":"Be Forward Wanderers Mozambique -bound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has postponed Be Forward Wanderers\u2019 match against Mzuni to allow the Nomads to travel to Mozambique for an international match against Quelimane City.<\/p>\n<p>The match will be played on Monday as part of the Mozambican city\u2019s 75th anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Wanderers were due to play their TNM Super League match against Mzuni on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Sulom General Secretary, Williams Banda, confirmed the development.<\/p>\n<p>Wanderers Team Manager, Steve Madeira, thanked Sulom for allowing them to travel, saying the players will gain international exposure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will leave on Saturday (tomorrow) morning and we are looking forward to representing Blantyre and Malawi as a whole. We will take a strong team so that we come back home with a great result,\u201d Madeira said.<\/p>\n<p>Wanderers were chosen by Blantyre City Council to accompany Mayor, Wild Ndipo, on the trip aimed at strengthening ties between the two cities.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomads\/Mzuni match has since been shifted to August 27, a day after the Lali Lubani Road side takes on Moyale in a semi-final match of the Carlsberg Cup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has postponed Be Forward Wanderers\u2019 match against Mzuni to allow the Nomads to travel to Mozambique for an international match against Quelimane City.
