{"id":51587,"date":"2017-08-11T08:34:17","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T06:34:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=51587"},"modified":"2017-08-11T08:34:19","modified_gmt":"2017-08-11T06:34:19","slug":"big-bullets-extra-ordinary-general-meeting-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/08\/11\/big-bullets-extra-ordinary-general-meeting-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Bullets Extra-ordinary General Meeting Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Big Bullets\u2019 officials are expected to hold an Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Lilongwe Saturday to evaluate the response from their sponsor, Nyasa Manufacturing (NMC), over the club\u2019s takeover.<\/p>\n<p>NMC accepted Bullets Executive Committee\u2019s proposal to take over legal ownership of the team.<\/p>\n<p>In return, NMC promised to construct a stadium, buy a bus and three clubhouses.<\/p>\n<p>Nyasa also promised to inherit the team\u2019s debts and list the team on the Malawi Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Following the acceptance, Bullets Interim General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, Thursday confirmed the meeting scheduled for Kamudzi Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>He said the steering committee, led by Chairperson, Noel Lipipa, will present Nyasa\u2019s response to all the stakeholders before signing a memorandum of understanding with the cigarette manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThereafter, the EGM will agree on the date for the presentation ceremony of the legal ownership,\u201d Chigoga said.<\/p>\n<p>NMC sponsors Bullets to the tune of K100 million per year after signing a five-year agreement in 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Big Bullets\u2019 officials are expected to hold an Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Lilongwe Saturday to evaluate the response from their sponsor, Nyasa Manufacturing (NMC), over the club\u2019s takeover.
