Nyasa Big Bullets Coach, Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan, who has been recalled from a four-game suspension, has dismissed talk that he has fallen out with players.<\/p>\n
The Burundian tactician has, for the first time, spoken on his relationship with the team amid reports that most players are against his return.<\/p>\n
The coach was expected to rejoin the team on Wednesday at its Blantyre Sports Club training ground but he was conspicuously absent.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan confirmed on Wednesday that he received a letter from Bullets interim General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, notifying him about the expiry of his suspension.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was indeed supposed to return to the team today (Wednesday), but I am currently tied up with some personal issues. I will report for duties as soon as I sort out the issues that are bothering me,\u201d Ramadhan said.<\/p>\n
But a senior Bullets\u2019 player claimed that 98 percent of the squad is against the tactician\u2019s return.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf they insist on bringing him back, we will simply stop winning games and you know what will happen. Bullets will no longer be a force. We want the status quo to prevail [with Elia Kananji as coach] and we will be giving out our best for the sake of the team,\u201d the player said.<\/p>\n
He said the team needs a coach who relates well with the players.<\/p>\n
However, Ramadhan maintained that he will return to Bullets.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not aware of any player rejecting me. And it is not possible for a player to reject a coach. I relate well with all my players and those who say players do not want me, are lying,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chigoga confirmed that Ramadhan was expected back.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan was suspended three weeks ago after Bullets\u2019 slump in form and Kananji has been in charge.<\/p>\n
