Details have emerged that Wanderers and the gangling forward, who was released by South Africa\u2019s Polokwane City, have agreed terms.<\/p>\n
Wanderers General Secretary, Mike Butao, was not available for a comment but a source confirmed the deal Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is the type of a player who can give us 12-plus goals in a season. Salary and other benefits have been agreed,\u201d said the source about the veteran player.<\/p>\n
Kanyenda\u2019s imminent arrival could pose stiff competition to Wanderers\u2019 strike force comprising Peter Wadabwa, Ishmael Thindwa, Precious Msosa, Jafali Chande, Jabulani Linje and Nigerian Amos Bello.<\/p>\n
Wadabwa, Nomads\u2019 last year\u2019s top scorer with 15 goals in the TNM Super League, is, alongside Thindwa and Bello, struggling with injuries.<\/p>\n
