Salary and other benefits have been agreed,\u201d said the source about the veteran player.<\/p>\n<p>Kanyenda\u2019s imminent arrival could pose stiff competition to Wanderers\u2019 strike force comprising Peter Wadabwa, Ishmael Thindwa, Precious Msosa, Jafali Chande, Jabulani Linje and Nigerian Amos Bello.<\/p>\n<p>Wadabwa, Nomads\u2019 last year\u2019s top scorer with 15 goals in the TNM Super League, is, alongside Thindwa and Bello, struggling with injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The former Dwangwa United and South Africa\u2019s Jomo Cosmos player who is expected to arrive today said he would comment on the issue while in Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomads top the log table with 22 points from nine games.<\/p>\n<p>At the peak of his career, Kanyenda also played for Russian sides, Rostov, Kamaz and Locomotive Moscow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be Forward Wanderers, who are spoilt with strikers, are reportedly closing in on South Africa-based forward Esau Kanyenda.
