The first couple are due to visit the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Our reporters in Lilongwe say ambulances, police vehicles and well wishers rushed to ferry the dead bodies and the injured to Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital has been overwhelmed by the emergency, while family and friends of those affected have thronged the hospital to check on their loved ones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A stampede at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe has killed 8 people and injured over 40 others.
