Female musician Sangie will today make history in her music career as she will be launching her debut album Painless <\/em>at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n

It has not been an easy journey for the singer, real name Angel Mbekeani, in a male-dominated industry.<\/p>\n

But with all that said, Sangie has shown potential and worked very hard dropping singles which have earned her praises.<\/p>\n

She made her first single \u2018I Do It All For Love\u2019, in 2014 which received an overwhelming response and continues to enjoy airplay.<\/p>\n

And now she is ready with a full 10-track album which she finished recording last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been three years of learning. The music industry is not the easiest one but I have grown. I am now wiser and ready to take my music to the next level,\u201d she told The Nation <\/em>recently.<\/p>\n

She said on his Facebook page that she was ready for the launch and that people should expect the best.<\/p>\n

The artist was nominated in the Nyasa Music Awards in the Best Female Artist category but she lost out to Miracle Chinga Moffat.<\/p>\n

With the singles she dropped, Sangie has been performing in several events sharing the stage with other musicians.<\/p>\n

She also collaborated with several musicians.<\/p>\n

The reggae musician also known for the track \u2018Ndangozizidwa\u2019 said the album in which she has also featured other artists dwells on love and women.<\/p>\n

Some of the songs in Painless <\/em>include \u2018Mkazi Wa Ngwiro\u2019, featuring renowned poet Robert Chiwamba of the \u2018Flames Sizamva\u2019 fame, and \u2018Pepa\u2019 featuring Lulu.<\/p>\n
