{"id":48490,"date":"2017-06-15T09:12:26","date_gmt":"2017-06-15T07:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=48490"},"modified":"2017-06-15T09:12:30","modified_gmt":"2017-06-15T07:12:30","slug":"four-boxers-europe-bound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/06\/15\/four-boxers-europe-bound\/","title":{"rendered":"Four boxers Europe bound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Four local boxers are scheduled to take part in non-title fights in European countries such as Russia, Switzerland and Kosovo.<\/p>\n<p>Budding female boxer Ruth Chisale is expected to fight Ornella Domini on June 24 in Geneva, Switzerland, in a six-round fight.<\/p>\n<p>Chisale has a perfect record having won all her six bouts, including by four knockouts.<\/p>\n<p>She has defeated boxers such as Husna Zamba, Lucy Phiri, Ndau Chilimba and Anisha Bashil (twice).<\/p>\n<p>However, Domini is equally good and experienced, having won all her 10 fights, including two by knockouts.<\/p>\n<p>Former World Boxing Forum welterweight champion, Agnes Mtimaukanena-Mwando is also expected to take on Svetlana Kulakova next month.<\/p>\n<p>Mtimaukanena-Mwando, 25, has five wins, three defeats and a draw whereas Kulakova, 34, is also unbeaten in 12 fights having won 11 and drawn once.<\/p>\n<p>Mtimaukanena-Mwando was not available for a comment.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, light heavyweight boxer Mussa Ajibu, 31, with 28 wins, eight defeats and five draws, is also expected to fight in Russia on June 30 against a yet to-be-known opponent.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Ajibu, alongside Chisale, left for Tanzania on Tuesday to process their visas.<\/p>\n<p>Middleweight boxer Chimwemwe Chiotcha is set to become the first Malawian boxer to fight in Kosovo next month.<\/p>\n<p>Chiotcha, 33, has 15 wins, including 11 knockouts and has suffered five defeats. However, details about his opponent were not readily available as we went to press.<\/p>\n<p>Ngumi Boxing Stable Managing Director, Steve Msiska, has secured the fights in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI sent contracts to the concerned camps and all are willing to fight. I can also confirm that Ajibu and Chisale have left for Tanzania where they will join my partner Emmanuel Mlundwa,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Msiska said, despite getting international exposure, the boxer were offered good contracts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot disclose the amount [they will receive] because it is unprofessional [doing so].
