{"id":4843,"date":"2015-06-25T08:24:45","date_gmt":"2015-06-25T08:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=4843"},"modified":"2015-06-25T08:24:45","modified_gmt":"2015-06-25T08:24:45","slug":"robert-ngambi-could-be-swapped","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/06\/25\/robert-ngambi-could-be-swapped\/","title":{"rendered":"Robert Ng\u2019ambi could be swapped"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Platinum Stars midfielder Robert Ng\u2019ambi could move to Super Sport United in a swap deal involving two players, one of the South Africa\u2019s leading soccer publications, <em>Soccerladuma <\/em>has revealed.<\/p>\n<p>The publication reported this week that Super Sport have emerged as favourites to secure the signature of the former Black Leopards and Big Bullets midfielder beating long-time admirers, Orlando Pirates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Tshwane-based club (Super Sport) could edge the Buccaneers (Pirates) in landing the talented midfielder in a possible swap deal which could involve the duo of Michael Morton and Mor Diof heading to Dikwena (Platinum) whilst Ng\u2019ambi heads to the executive capital,\u201d reported the publication.<\/p>\n<p>According to the publication, Platinum coach, Cavin Johnson was looking at Morton as a possible addition to his midfield, having worked with the midfielder during his days at Super Sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Ng\u2019ambi having previously declared he would rather join Bidvest Wits or Super Sport, this could play well into Gordon Igesund\u2019s (Super Sport coach) hands to land the box-to-box midfielder ahead of the new season,\u201d <em>Soccerladuma <\/em>reported.<\/p>\n<p>However, Ng\u2019ambi was not available for comment on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Ng\u2019ambi endured tough campaign in the Absa Premiership last season due to injuries. But the former Bullets player is the most consistent Malawian player in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Before last season, Ng\u2019ambi scored vitals goals for Platinum and he also won the Last Man Standing award in the MTN top 8.<\/p>\n<p>In another development, Flames striker Atusaye Nyondo has qualified for South African citizenship after spending more than five years in the Rainbow nation.<\/p>\n<p>This means starting next season, Nyondo would be registered as naturalised South African player for his club University of Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p>Nyondo, 24, began his career in South Africa at Carara Kicks before joining Super Sport United where he spent more than two seasons before signing for University of Pretoria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Platinum Stars midfielder Robert Ng\u2019ambi could move to Super Sport United in a swap deal involving two players, one of the South Africa\u2019s leading soccer publications, Soccerladuma has revealed.
