All manner of happiness, peace, anguish and many other feelings have come handy for Lilongwe-based gospel artist, Alinafe Mwambira, who took two years out to enjoy and, where the need arose, endure all these.<\/p>\n
But time to enjoy, or endure, alone is over, and Mwambira has decided to share her experiences with her fans and Malawians at large through the single \u2018Mwaonera Ndani\u2019.<\/p>\n
From the look of things, the single has sailed directly into public favour, airplay on public and private media, social media and other platforms is anything to go by.<\/p>\n
But the best is to come as, in an interview on Monday; Mwambira described the single as a \u201cmere appetiser\u201d, in the sense that it is the biblical John preparing the way for the big one.<\/p>\n
Mwambira is working on a new album with help from Khumbo Kaliwo and Joseph Tembo of Groove Magic studios.<\/p>\n
The album is set for release at the end of July.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am working on my fourth album to be released probably by the end of July. The album is titled Bail Me Out <\/em>and I believe it will transform many lives as it carries soul touching songs,\u201d Mwambira said.<\/p>\n Some of the songs in the album include \u2018Mwaonera Ndani\u2019, \u2018No Li f e Wi thout J es u s \u2019 , \u2018Samasintha\u2019, \u2018Wamkulu\u2019 and \u2018Ndiyemweyu\u2019.<\/p>\n The fourth-year Bachelor of Arts student at Mzuzu University also addressed the issue of her absence, saying she has been concentrating on studies.<\/p>\n \u201cThat said, I have time to continue working on my album now,\u201d Mwambira said.<\/p>\n \u2018Mwaonera Ndani\u2019\u2019 rams into wolves in sheep skin for, without beating about the bush, it criticises those who claim to be God-fearing but act contrary to God\u2019s will.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople should expect more touching songs from me; songs that will keep them close to God,\u201d Mwandira said.<\/p>\n Mwambira came into the limelight after releasing her debut album, Zabisika <\/em>in 2004, followed by Akhala Nane <\/em>in 2008 and Mwai Wachiwiri <\/em>in 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" All manner of happiness, peace, anguish and many other feelings have come handy for Lilongwe-based gospel artist, Alinafe Mwambira, who took two years out to enjoy and, where the need arose, endure all these.
