Patience Namadingo will hand over K15 million to the Children\u2019s Cancer Ward at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre Saturday.<\/p>\n
The singer and guitarist famed for the hit \u2018Msati Mseke\u2019 said on Thursday that, having postponed the event last Saturday, it was on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes we are set to donate the K15 million we have raised on Saturday and everything is in place,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Namadingo also revealed that initially he was supposed to donate K12 million which he raised but FDH Bank came yesterday and donated K3 million.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just want to say thank you to all those who came out with the donations to make this project a success and their donations will go a long way in helping the children\u2019s cancer ward,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Namadingo said they will star t with a walk from Kamuzu Stadium in the morning before handing over the donation.<\/p>\n
He also said that they will have a short performance during the donation.<\/p>\n
Namadingo has been commended by many people for using his talent to generate funds for a cause.<\/p>\n
