The home side blew a golden opportunity to rescue a point in the 68th minute as striker Abel Mwakilama\u2019s spot-kick hit the post despite sending Lions goalkeeper Jacob Kaunda the wrong way.<\/p>\n
\u201cLuck was not on our side,\u201d Mwalweni said.<\/p>\n
\u201c[We] created a lot of chances, especially in the second-half, but sadly, we failed to utilise them. However, things will get better.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Chitipa mentor still praised the performance of Mwakilama who played in the top-flight league for the first time after a failed transfer to Moyale Barracks FC.<\/p>\n
Lions Coach, Mike Kumanga, said, after Saturday\u2019s 1-1 draw against Mzuni FC, his side desperately needed the victory.<\/p>\n
