I want men to be able to find everything from their spouses. That way, we will see more faithful and happy relationships,” he said.

He added that he understands that some women also face the same challenge from their husbands but he chose to speak for men because he relates easily.

He sings in the song: “Timu yanga ilibe gemu ndikamamenya ganyu/ Cholinga ndingobwera mochedwa” (If the team I support is not playing, I still go watch football just to go home late).

The artist, however, is not in any way backing promiscuous men or advocating free ‘visas’ from very strict female companions. The song is only trying to encourage women to open up and be complete assets.

“If you listen to the chorus of the song, you will hear that I am not telling men to look elsewhere but, rather, asking women to be ‘That Somebody’ who their husbands long for,” he said.

The song, produced by Gaffar, is from a new album that has 10 songs.

The album is expected to be launched in September.

Some of the artists featuring in the new album are GD, Big JayP from Tanzania, San B, Blakjak, Young Kay, Barry One, Henwood and a new gospel group called Amithenga.

“I have worked with a lot of producers such as Gafar, Lo Budget, Famous, also working with Sonye, Manje, BFB and Sley in order to have variety in the new album,” he said.

Piksy said he will release two more singles and two videos before the official launch of the album.

Afro-Pop artist Piksy has released a new song titled ‘Somebody’ from his new album Mtunda.
