{"id":47198,"date":"2017-05-27T08:23:14","date_gmt":"2017-05-27T06:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=47198"},"modified":"2017-05-27T08:23:14","modified_gmt":"2017-05-27T06:23:14","slug":"students-vow-to-work-hard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/05\/27\/students-vow-to-work-hard\/","title":{"rendered":"Students vow to work hard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students at Chikweo Community Day Secondary School s in Machinga have vowed to work hard in order to meet their goals.<\/p>\n<p>The students said this on Friday when they saw off Canadian Peace Corps Volunteer, Brooke Marshall, who had been assisting them in various education disciplines when she was at the school.<\/p>\n<p>Chikweo Community Day Secondary School former head boy, Aubrey Banda, in an interview, said many students have benefited immensely from her two-year stay since she had been accommodative and helpful in encouraging the students to aim high.<\/p>\n<p>Head teacher, Peter Khwalingwa, urged the students to develop team-working spirit for them to succeed in life. Khwalingwa advised the students to put God first in their dealings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can achieve your academic goals if you trust in God.
