Malawi\u2019s Flames Coach, Ronny van Geneudgen, will travel to the Northern Region this weekend on the national team\u2019s scouting mission.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a press briefing at Mpira village on Thursday, the coach said some players who were in the three-day camp may not be recalled.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are sure that we will find some talented players in the Northern Region and if they impress me more than those that we had in the camp, we will definitely take them on board. I hope to release the squad by Tuesday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On Monday, the coach named a 26-member squad that went into a pre-camp on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the coach said he was waiting for the foreign-based players to be included in the squad.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a problem with Mozambique-based players who cannot be released now as their league is in progress and according to Fifa rules, a player is supposed to be released five or six days before the match. As you know, we are playing our game on June 10,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
