After a four-year silence, Mzuzu-based gospel musician Martha Nthakomwa is back with a new album titled Nditumeni. <\/em><\/p>\n

The singer has since said she is determined to break the ground with the 10-track album which has songs such as \u2018Ponyani Chingwe\u2019, \u2018Ambuye Amayankha\u2019, \u2018Timkakamile\u2019 and \u2018Yehova M\u2019busa Wanga.\u2019<\/p>\n

Nthakomwa said the album has songs with messages of life and the grace of God.<\/p>\n

The singer further said the album is a continuation of the messages from her previous albums.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have released this album because I live by the theme \u201cwe will pass hard times but nothing on earth will separate us from God.\u201d So when the storm is calm we will rejoice in his presence\u201d Nthakomwa said.<\/p>\n

Nditumeni <\/em>is Nthakomwa\u2019s second album. Her first album was Palibe Wina which she dropped in 2012.<\/p>\n

The singer said her debut album was a success following its launch in 2013 at Boma Park in Mzuzu.<\/p>\n

Nthakomwa added that she is in music not by chance but she is passionate about it as well as ministering the word of God.<\/p>\n

Nditumeni <\/em>which in English means send me, was produced by musician and producer Lloyd Phiri at One Heart Studios in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n

In the album, the artist has featured other artists among them Kondwani Chirwa and Ruth Missi Thindwa.<\/p>\n

Nthakomwa said she is planning to launch the album in August.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest challenge for us artists is piracy. I just want to call upon people to support us by buying original copies. As artists we sweat to come up with albums and so it\u2019s frustrating when your works get pirated,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

With distribution being a challenge for many artists, Nthakomwa said she is working very hard to make sure that the album gets to all the major music outlets across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
