Fading giants Nyasa Big Bullets have called for another crisis meeting over the team\u2019s indifferent start to the 2017 season.<\/p>\n
The meeting, to involve the Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan-led coaching panel, the Executive Committee and trustees, is expected to take place Monday in Blantyre.<\/p>\n
The meeting comes two days after Bullets exited the Airtel Top 8 Cup following a 1-0 aggregate loss to Silver Strikers in the quarter-final.<\/p>\n
It appears Bullets Executive Committee is losing patience with the Ramadhan-led coaching panel after going 360 minutes without scoring in all competitions.<\/p>\n
Bullets General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, Monday admitted that the situation was getting out of hand.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are in a crisis so the meeting will be attended by all stakeholders. The issue of giving the coaches an ultimatum is an option, but the meeting will decide the way forward,\u201d Chigoga said.<\/p>\n
Bullets Chairperson, Noel Lipipa, also confirmed that the meeting would find out the main cause of the team\u2019s poor start to the season.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe should not pretend that things are ok. The players are getting everything from us but we are surprised that the team is failing to score even a single goal. Before the season, the coaches challenged us that we should not beef up the squad and we want them to explain to us the main problem,\u201d Lipipa said.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan was unavailable Tuesday but in a post-match interview on Sunday at Mulanje Park Stadium, he faulted referee Mischeck Juba.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not know the level of this referee. This referee is supposed to<\/p>\n
go to the lower division,\u201d Ramadhan told journalists.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Football Association of Malawi Marketing and Commercial Director, Limbani Matola, Monday disclosed that the game between Bullets and Silver grossed K9.6 million, which is a record at the newly-constructed venue.
