Actress and filmmaker Flora Suya, who is currently in the United States of America (USA) has landed herself a role to star in a Shakespeare play.<\/p>\n
The actress got the nod after auditioning.<\/p>\n
One of the organisers, Cathryn Muzaffa in an email indicated that they have offered Suya a role this summer.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you for coming to audition with Vallejo Shakespeare in the Park. We would like to offer you a role this summer,\u201d Muzaffa said.<\/p>\n
Suya said she was happy to have landed a role to star in Shakespeare\u2019s play adding that it shows that they were satisfied with her theatre skills.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am happy and looking forward to star in this play,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Asked when she was likely to come back home, Suya said she was still there for sometime as she is working on some film projects.<\/p>\n
Last month, Suya, who has starred in several movies, was invited to a class by Professor Sam Mchombo where she was teaching about African culture and language as well as media and language where one of her episodes was used.<\/p>\n
The students had time to ask Suya questions as a filmmaker and actress.<\/p>\n
