Masters Security FC Coach, Benjamin Kumwenda, has hailed the attacking impetus which Captain, Robin Ngalande, has injected in the Lilongwe rookies.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am happy for my captain but it is all about teamwork. Robin has also brought a new style of play when we are attacking,\u201d said Kumwenda, whose Super League debut with the now defunct Mponela United did not last beyond a season in 2012.<\/p>\n
\u201c[Overall] preparations was my first thing [against United]. We needed to be organised in all the departments, which we did in the game. The win means a lot as it will help us gain confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ngalande, who has in eight years played for five professional teams in Malawi and South Africa, has taken the TNM Super League like duck to water.<\/p>\n
The former Civo United player scored again on Saturday when Masters saw off Blantyre United 3-1 at Dedza Stadium, which is located a few metres away from his home.<\/p>\n
The former Spain\u2019s Atletico Madrid youth and South Africa\u2019s Mamelodi Sundowns\u2019 academy player also grabbed a brace in last weekend\u2019s 2-1 win over Civil Sporting Club at the same stadium.<\/p>\n
Ngalande, who made a surprise return back home after not-so- successful spells with South Africa\u2019s Ajax Cape Town, Bidvest Wits and Platinum Stars, is now among the Super League\u2019s top scorers alongside Innocent Bokosi of Red Lions who also has three goals in three games.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
