Chitipa United Coach, Kondwani Mwalweni, has said it is too early for his team to set TNM Super League targets.<\/p>\n
The team, according to Mwalweni, is still adapting to life in the top-flight league.<\/p>\n
He argued that his team lacks \u201ccomprehensive\u201d experience.<\/p>\n
As such, he said, setting a target will put his squad under pressure.<\/p>\n
Mwalweni said this after his charges succumbed to a 0-2 defeat against a spirited Premier Bet Wizards side at Mulanje Park Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe whole team comprises players without Super League experience. This is a youthful team. So, it will be good for them [players] if we try to take game by game.<\/p>\n
\u201cSometimes setting a target early in the season like this is not healthy. As such, I feel that we have to take our time and see where we will end up at the end [of the season],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chitipa frustrated Nyasa Big Bullets to a barren stalemate during their first-ever Super League game last week.<\/p>\n
