Award winning artist Lulu will tomorrow perform at the A4AY graduation ceremony to be held at Mibawa Multipurpose Hall in Blantyre.<\/p>\n
Lulu confirmed of his performance yesterday, adding that he was looking forward to giving out his best.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is another platform for me to showcase my music. Again, the platform will also give me a chance to interact with upcoming artists,\u201d said the guitarist and producer.<\/p>\n
The guest of honour of the A4AY graduation ceremony and market orientation performance is Minister of Labour, Youth and Sports Henry Mussa.<\/p>\n
Mibawa proprietor John Nthakomwa said during the event which is free, people will have a chance of watching final performances of the A4AY students trained by Mibawa under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.<\/p>\n
He said the programme is funded by Unicef through Active Youth Initiative for Social Enhancement (Ayise).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe youth will receive certificates and those that recorded albums under the programme will receive 40 CDs each of their recorded work,\u201d Nthakomwa said.<\/p>\n
He also said the ministry has invited the corporate world and other stakeholders to appreciate the talent from the youths.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll I can say is that it is time the corporate world supported the arts industry. It is a key element to tourism and also new job creation,\u201d Nthakomwa said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
