{"id":4601,"date":"2015-06-22T08:53:54","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T08:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=4601"},"modified":"2015-06-22T08:53:54","modified_gmt":"2015-06-22T08:53:54","slug":"silver-dent-nomads-unbeaten-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/06\/22\/silver-dent-nomads-unbeaten-record\/","title":{"rendered":"Silver dent Nomads\u2019 unbeaten record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Twenty-four hours after losing to Azam Tigers, Silver Strikers bounced back in style to humiliate and humble Be Forward Mighty Wanderers with a 2-0 drubbing in a TNM Super League match at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first defeat for Wanderers this season and it stopped them from moving above rivals Big Bullets on the log table.<\/p>\n<p>This was also a third successive defeat Wanderers have suffered to Silver.<\/p>\n<p>After a goalless first half, the game exploded to life in the second half when both teams showed the hunger to win.<\/p>\n<p>Moments after Wanderers forward Muhammed Sulumba missed a chance, Silver responded swiftly when Green Harawa capitalised on defensive mix-up between goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa and Francis Mulimbika to put the bankers in the lead in 57th minute. The Nomads duo had failed to deal with Peter Wadabwa\u2019s cross.<\/p>\n<p>Former Bullets midfielder Victor Limbani secured the points for Silver when he connected home a corner from Ian Banda in the 76th minute.<\/p>\n<p>Nomads\u2019 technical panel made some changes resting Sparrow Msowoya for Luka Milanzie and later Sulumba for Mapopa Kaunda but could not get a consolation goal.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bullets are still on top with 23 points from 11 matches while Wanderers have 21 points from 10 games.
