{"id":45612,"date":"2017-05-03T08:31:42","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T06:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=45612"},"modified":"2017-05-03T08:31:44","modified_gmt":"2017-05-03T06:31:44","slug":"micium-mhone-doubtful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/05\/03\/micium-mhone-doubtful\/","title":{"rendered":"Micium Mhone doubtful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Eagles are putting fingers crossed on the availability of their versatile attacker, Micium Mhone, whose transfer from South Africa\u2019s Jomo Cosmos has stalled.<\/p>\n<p>Mhone terminated his contract with Cosmos, but his switch back to Eagles was not completed before the closure of the domestic transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>Football Association of Malawi (Fam) Transfer Matching System Manager, Casper Jangale, yesterday confirmed that Mhone\u2019s transfer delayed.<\/p>\n<p>Jangale said the last option was for Fam to seek a special clearance from world football governing body, Fifa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you are aware, the international transfer window closed on March 31 2017. We tried to push for the clearance with the South African Football Association but it failed,\u201d Jangale said, adding that Mhone might have to wait for the next July transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>However, Mhone\u2019s manager, Gabriel Chirwa, said he will wait to hear from Fam on the \u00a0way forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, I am meeting Mhone today (yesterday) as he was with the national team. We want to see how best we can sort out this issue.
