With defeat looking imminent, Bullets Coach, Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan, rested Fischer Kondowe for Mike Mkwate\u2014and the People\u2019s Team\u2019s attacking improved, forcing Lions to retreat.<\/p>\n
After the game, Ramadhan and his Lions\u2019 counterpart, Mike Kumanga, said they were satisfied with their charges\u2019 performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe struggled a bit because we were missing six key players. Of course, we played well, particularly in the second-half when we attacked and defended as a unit. We struggled in the first-half in the attacking third because we were playing high balls. Nevertheless, I believe we will deliver this season,\u201d Ramadhan said.<\/p>\n
Kumanga said they were determined to avoid last season\u2019s struggles.<\/p>\n
