Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has advised goalkeeper, Simplex Nthala, to wait for the next transfer window before quitting Masters Security FC.<\/p>\n
The former Ferroviario de Nampula shot-stopper dumped the newly-promoted TNM Super League side, a month after joining them, citing unpaid dues.<\/p>\n
Nthala, who joined Masters in February as a free agent, claimed that he was yet to sign a contract with the Super League rookies.<\/p>\n
Last week, the 29-year-old left Lilongwe for Blantyre amid reports that he was set to reunite with Be Forward Wanderers.<\/p>\n
Fam Facility and Transfer Matching System Manager, Casper Jangale, said no player can just dump a team anyhow.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not want to comment much on that issue. Such a thing cannot happen unless there is proper determination [for a player to leave a club for another]. Otherwise, in our Domestic Transfer Matching System it is already indicated that he is a Masters FC player.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf he wants to leave, then he has to wait for the next transfer window, which is somewhere around mid-season in August,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
It is reportedly that Nthala is bitter with 2016 Central Region Premier Division champions officials for failing to pay his signing-on fees.<\/p>\n
