Nyasa Big Bullets have appointed their former team manager, Enos Chatama, as Scout Director and reserve side Coach.<\/p>\n
Bullets General Secretary, Albert Chigoga and Chatama confirmed the development Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Chigoga said the Executive Committee approved the hiring of Chatama to serve in both roles.<\/p>\n
He said they want the reserves to groom players for the senior team.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt Bullets, we want to ease down on buying more players from other clubs. Buying six players every season is a non-starter because they don\u2019t know the culture of the club. Look! Bullets only have Fischer Kondowe who came from the reserve side.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can appreciate how Fischer is dedicated. This is so because he was studying Bullets\u2019 culture while at Banyamulenge <\/em>[Bullets youth team]. So, it is true that Chatama will be in charge of scouting and coaching the reserve team in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Football Association.\u201d<\/p>\n The Caf C-Licence holder has since promised to build a strong reserve team for Bullets.<\/p>\n \u201cThey approached me to take over the roles and I accepted. I will make sure that we have talented players that will play for the team for the next three to four years.
