Malawi National Football Team, the Flames, have refused to be shaken by the fact that their hosts in tomorrow\u2019s game\u2014 Madagascar\u2014have named a strong 24-member squad.<\/p>\n
Madagascar\u2019s French Coach, Raux Auguste, released the squad on Wednesday ahead of the first leg, first round of the African Nations Championship (Chan) qualifiers at the Stade Municipal Mahamasina .<\/p>\n
Madagascar squad include serial scorer, Jeannot Vombola, who top-scored in the 2015 Cosafa Castle Cup in South Africa to attract interest from clubs such as Jomo Cosmos.<\/p>\n
However, Malawi Team Manager, Peter Mponda, insisted that the Ronny van Geneugden\u2019s charges were eager to defeat Madagascar.<\/p>\n
Malawi arrived in Madagascar on Wednesday after stopping over in Kenya for a friendly which ended 0-0 the previous day.<\/p>\n
The winner between Malawi and Madagascar will date Mozambique over two legs in July.<\/p>\n
Thereafter, the overall winner will qualify for the third and final round in August with Mauritius, Seychelles and Angola as likely opponents.<\/p>\n
