{"id":44539,"date":"2017-04-17T11:32:42","date_gmt":"2017-04-17T09:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=44539"},"modified":"2017-04-17T11:32:44","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T09:32:44","slug":"plascon-plans-new-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/04\/17\/plascon-plans-new-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Plascon plans new products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paint marker, Kansai Plascon, has unveiled plans to introduce a new line of products after conducting a market research on customer preferences over the past two years.<\/p>\n<p>General Manager for International Business at Plascon, Noel van der Berge, made the commitment on the sidelines of a breakfast interaction the business hosted for its customers in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Van der Berge said the company is focusing on producing and supplying products that are environmental friendly and meet market requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Among others, the company plans to introduce a new range of insecticides and repellents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to understand the needs of our customers better and develop ways to satisfy those needs in the best way possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the needs are different from country to country, we still have to segment the local market and develop products that satisfy each segment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the company\u2019s performance in the highly competitive market, van der Berge said the business targets the entire market but with specific products that meet specific needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll markets are very tough to trade in.
