{"id":44339,"date":"2017-04-13T10:52:32","date_gmt":"2017-04-13T08:52:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=44339"},"modified":"2017-04-13T10:52:34","modified_gmt":"2017-04-13T08:52:34","slug":"malawi-international-trade-fair-2017-planned-for-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/04\/13\/malawi-international-trade-fair-2017-planned-for-may\/","title":{"rendered":"Malawi International Trade Fair 2017 planned for May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) has said plans to hold this year\u2019s Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) are at an advanced stage.<\/p>\n<p>The Chamber has since set May 24 to June 3 as the days when various exhibitors will showcase their goods and services at Chichiri Trade Fair Grounds in Blantyre. In a statement, the Chamber said both local and international exhibitors have been invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p>The Fair will be held under the theme, Productivity: A Source of Export Competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The forum provides a platform where patrons and other participants network as they showcase their exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>The MITF is an annual trade promotion event that gives exhibitors an opportunity to market their products and services, enhance product and brand visibility and generate leads that helps drive sales.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was launched in 1987 and brings together exhibitors from Africa, Asia, America and Europe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) has said plans to hold this year\u2019s Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) are at an advanced stage.
