{"id":44230,"date":"2017-04-11T09:26:03","date_gmt":"2017-04-11T07:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=44230"},"modified":"2017-04-11T09:26:04","modified_gmt":"2017-04-11T07:26:04","slug":"peter-wadabwa-miracle-gabeya-ruled-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/04\/11\/peter-wadabwa-miracle-gabeya-ruled-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Peter Wadabwa, Miracle Gabeya ruled out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peter Wadabwa, Miracle Gabeya ruled out<\/p>\n<p>The Malawi National Football Team forward Peter Wadabwa and defender Miracle Gabeya have been ruled out of the African Nations Championship (Chan) preliminary round qualifiers against Madagascar.<\/p>\n<p>Wadabwa and Gabeya suffered injuries during training and will be sidelined for six and two weeks, respectively, the Flames Team Manager, Peter Mponda, confirmed Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The duo will miss the away match scheduled for April 22 in Antananarivo and the return game a week later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is true that Wadabwa and Gabeya are injured but the doctor [Enock Mwale] is monitoring the situation. I doubt if we will have them in our games against Madagascar,\u201d Mponda said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Flames have relocated to Nchalo where they are training at Kalulu Stadium to get used to the natural grass.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Times <\/em>has established that the match in Antananarivo will be played on natural grass and it is hot on the island, hence the Flames\u2019 relocation to Nchalo.<\/p>\n<p>Kamuzu Stadium and Chiwembe Ground have artificial turfs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis week, we will be training in Nchalo because we have learnt that we will not use an artificial turf in Madagascar.
