The team\u2019s acting General Secretary, Albert Chigoga, said they were caught unawares by Fam\u2019s release of the results of the licensing application.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we concentrated on the leadership woes, time was not waiting for us. When we settled the differences, time was up, hence we could not finalise everything as required by the system. We are, however, working on fulfilling the requirements,\u201d Chigoga said.<\/p>\n<p>The failure by Bullets to qualify for the system came as a surprise considering that they scored well last season.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Bullets, Kamuzu Barracks, Mzuni FC, Civo United\/Epac, Chitipa FC, Masters Security, Blantyre United, Azam Tigers and Premier Bet Wizards fell short of making the grade on the licensing requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Red Lions, Silver Strikers and Mafco were given provisional licences whereas Blue Eagles and Be Forward Wanderers made it.<\/p>\n<p>Under the licensing, each club is supposed to provide details for its secretariat, personnel, qualified coaches and training ground.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NYASA Big Bullets have attributed their failure to qualify for Football Association of Malawi (Fam) Club Licensing System requirements to the recent in-fighting.
