The Flames\u2019 versatile attacker, Micium Mhone, was attacked on the street in Johannesburg, South Africa by unknown thugs on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The former Blue Eagles winger was stabbed on the hand whereas his friend was reportedly seriously injured.<\/p>\n
In an interview from South Africa Tuesday, Mhone confirmed that, he alongside his friend, were attacked by six thugs at around 6pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am still shocked with what happened but I thank God that I am still alive. It was terrible and they stabbed me on the hand but my friend was seriously injured. We rushed to the hospital and, I am now feeling better,\u201d Mhone explained.<\/p>\n
He added that the thugs went away with R3,000 (about K156,000) and Samsung S7 mobile phone.<\/p>\n
Mhone joined National First Division side, Jomo Cosmos, on a two-year deal but he is leaving the club after refusing to be loaned out to a team in Swaziland this season.<\/p>\n
The midfielder was expected to arrive in the country this week after terminating the deal with Cosmos.<\/p>\n
Recently, he indicated that he would be open to join any local club but Eagles have the first option.<\/p>\n
