{"id":43344,"date":"2017-03-28T09:24:44","date_gmt":"2017-03-28T07:24:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=43344"},"modified":"2017-03-28T09:24:46","modified_gmt":"2017-03-28T07:24:46","slug":"lt-construction-donates-to-orphans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/03\/28\/lt-construction-donates-to-orphans\/","title":{"rendered":"L&#038;T Construction donates to orphans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Larsen and Toubro (L&amp;T) Construction on Friday distributed food items to orphans around Nkhoma and Phombeya Sub-stations as part of its corporate social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>The company, which is constructing 400 KV Substations in Nkhoma and Phombeya through the Millennium Challenge Account Malawi (MCA-M), donated 100 bags of maize and 50 bags of beans.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after donating the items, L&amp; T Construction Business Development Manager for Southern Africa, Mukul Saini, said the company was committed to assist communities and orphans near the two substations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cL&amp;T has an annual budget for CSR programmes and we take this very seriously.
