TNM Super League champions, Kamuzu Barracks (KB) have announced that they will bolster their squad with three players before the season kicks off.<\/p>\n
KB Head Coach, Billy Phambala, confirmed that he recommended to the Executive Committee the recruitment of players.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a good team but we need to bring at least three players. I am looking for a defender, midfielder and left winger,\u201d Phambala said recently.<\/p>\n
The soldiers are on the verge of signing defender Enock Likoswe from Blue Eagles.<\/p>\n
Likoswe moved to KB last season but did not feature for the soldiers because Eagles refused to clear him.<\/p>\n
KB General Secretary, Michael Chamayere, said details of the new signings would be communicated later.<\/p>\n
KB have a full title winning squad after versatile Harvey Nkacha, Davie Banda and Gift M\u2019 bwana did not make it into the final list for peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).<\/p>\n
The soldiers won their first- ever Super League championship last season after accumulating 61 points.<\/p>\n
Another army team, Mafco will welcome back eight players who were on a peace keeping mission in the DRC.<\/p>\n
The players include Martin Masoatheka, Maurice Chiumia, Hassan Chapola, Calisto Kalinda and Frank Kasiyamo.<\/p>\n
