Newly promoted TNM Super League side, Master Security FC\u2019s Head Coach, Benjamin Kumwenda, has said he is excited with the signing of Flames versatile attacker Robin Ngalande Jnr on a short-term deal.<\/p>\n
The former Atletico Madrid Academy player started training with Masters on Wednesday after penning a five-month contract.<\/p>\n
Kumwenda yesterday described Ngalande as a \u2018rare gem\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has played football at the top level and his experience will be vital for the team,\u201d said Kumwenda, whose last Super League coaching job was when he failed to keep Mponela United in the top-flight league in 2012.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody knows his quality and he does not need to prove anything to anyone. We will blend experienced and up-and-coming players.\u201d<\/p>\n
The coach added that he was satisfied with Ngalande\u2019s fitness despite that he has not played active football since last August.<\/p>\n
The former Civo United player might debut for Masters today in a friendly game against Blantyre United at Chiwembe Stadium.<\/p>\n
However, Ngalande on Thursday was reluctant to comment on the deal.<\/p>\n
The talented attacker has an eye for a goal and he has dribbling abilities.<\/p>\n
The former Mamelodi feature as a lone striker, false number nine and an attacking midfielder.<\/p>\n
Ngalande had unsuccessful spells at Bidvest Wits, Ajax Cape Town and Platinum Stars in South Africa Absa Premier Soccer League.<\/p>\n
Masters are on a serious rebuilding exercise having signed experienced former Flames shot-stopper, Simplex Nthala, Karonga United forward Khumbo Msowoya, Chiletso Zoya and Raphael Phiri from Azam Tigers and Civo United, respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
