{"id":42035,"date":"2017-03-08T09:48:22","date_gmt":"2017-03-08T07:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=42035"},"modified":"2017-03-08T09:48:23","modified_gmt":"2017-03-08T07:48:23","slug":"big-bullets-trustees-u-turn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/03\/08\/big-bullets-trustees-u-turn\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Bullets trustees u-turn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Feuding Nyasa Big Bullets\u2019 camps yesterday moved quickly to meet conditions set by Nyasa Manufacturing Company (NMC) for the company to lift its suspension of the team\u2019s sponsorship.<\/p>\n<p>NMC suspended the club\u2019s sponsorship after the resignation of the entire membership of the Board of Trustees and the appointment of an interim Executive Committee by the Supporters Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The company stated that the sponsorship would resume once the turmoil at the club is resolved and upon being formally informed on the way forward by the trustees.<\/p>\n<p>Trustees Chairperson, James Bussiley, who was the first to resign, said he had returned for the sake of the club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am in touch with my fellow trustees. We are arranging a meeting to map the way forward. We do not want to kill the club we all love. But for more, talk to our Secretary [Jim Kalua],\u201d Bussiley said.<\/p>\n<p>Kalua confirmed that the trustees were communicating regularly and would meet to resolve the turmoil. He promises to issue a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>Lipipa said he was playing the role of a mediator, adding \u201cit is apparent that all the stakeholders trust me. I am working on bringing them to a round table.
