{"id":41303,"date":"2017-02-24T09:02:46","date_gmt":"2017-02-24T07:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=41303"},"modified":"2017-02-24T09:02:48","modified_gmt":"2017-02-24T07:02:48","slug":"sunbird-hotels-golf-tees-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/02\/24\/sunbird-hotels-golf-tees-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunbird Hotels Golf tees off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a bid to interact with the corporate community, Sunbird Tourism Limited has organised a Sunbird Hotels and Resorts Annual Golf Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The opening two-day round of the tournament tees off at Blantyre Sports Club from today followed by the grand final on May 1 at the same venue.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Sunbird Tourism Limited Group Sales and Marketing Manager, Levie Nkunika, said they want to use the competition as a platform for appreciating their clients\u2019 changing needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going to take the opportunity to communicate to them on some of the new products we are bringing on the market including refurbishment of some of our hotel properties,\u201d Nkunika said.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will have men\u2019s and women\u2019s categories.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s category will have 32 teams of two players making, whereas the ladies\u2019 category has 16 players.
