Mafco FC\u2019s top official has denied reports that they are contemplating replacing Coach, Thomas Maloya, with former mentor Temwa Msuku.<\/p>\n
Msuku left the team in 2012 and now reports are rife that he was set for a return.<\/p>\n
Some players confirmed Msuku\u2019s imminent return.<\/p>\n
But the team\u2019s Chairperson, Peter Ng\u2019oma, parried the reports linking Msuku with a return to the Salima team.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe decision to hire or fire a coach is made at Army Headquarters by the Director of Training so we have not been communicated about the news and our coach is still Mr Maloya,\u201d Ng\u2019oma said.<\/p>\n
Msuku could neither deny nor confirm the reports, saying he had not been officially communicated.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have also heard about these reports but if it is true then I will wait for official communication,\u201d said Msuku who is now based at Mafco in Salima.<\/p>\n
He said the team was expected to start pre-season training yesterday.<\/p>\n
Msuku helped Mafco earn TNM Super League promotion in 2009.<\/p>\n
