The Flames\u2019 on-and -off midfielder, Micium Mhone, has said he would be ready to listen to offers from any local club.<\/p>\n
Mhone said this following the termination of his contract with South African First Division side, Jomo Cosmos.<\/p>\n
Mhone, a police officer, terminated his contract after refusing to be loaned out to an unnamed Swaziland club.<\/p>\n
The former Blue Eagles\u2019 versatile attacker on Monday said he wants to re-launch his career having not played competitive football since last September.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not force things. I am coming to Malawi because I want to be on the field of play all the time,\u201d Mhone said in an interview from South Africa,<\/p>\n
\u201cI am free to join any team once I have completed the process of terminating the contract with Cosmos. I am hoping to be in Malawi before the end of the month because by then, I would have signed the contract termination form.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mhone also said rejoining his former club would be a possibility.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not know if I will play for Eagles but I can join them if they want me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Before joining Cosmos, Mhone was given a two-year non-paid leave.<\/p>\n
Eagles\u2019 General Manager, Gabriel Chirwa, said the return of Mhone would boost the team\u2019s morale next season.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is our son and we are ready to welcome him. We want to help him re-launch his career so that he can clinch another deal abroad. He is a great player who can motivate his teammates,\u201d Chirwa said.<\/p>\n
Recently, Mhone indicated that he had offers from other South African teams.<\/p>\n
He joined Cosmos in 2015 after impressing during trials.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Eagles are discussing with Mozambican club, Ferroviario de Nampula over the extension of striker Schumacher Kuwali and midfielder John Banda\u2019s contracts.<\/p>\n
