After entertaining Blantyre with Kajive Season 3 Southern Region finals last Saturday, Lilongwe fans have a chance to watch live performances from Central Region\u2019s top 10 dancers that qualified for the finals.<\/p>\n
The finals will take place at Kamuzu Institute for Sports in Lilongwe and will see groups such as Sony, New African, Russian, Children, Star Boys, Salama, Philomona, Forus, Songie and TMO compete for platinum ranking.<\/p>\n
Out of the 10 groups, only four will qualify for the grand finale and will battle it out with the Southern Region\u2019s top four for the grand prize of K2 million.<\/p>\n
Times Group Chief Commercial Manager, Dumisani Ngulube, said the company is happy with the way the competition is unfolding.<\/p>\n
\u201cProgress is good. We managed to fill Robin\u2019s Park last Saturday during Southern Region finals and we hope to fill Kamuzu Institute for Sports tomorrow,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ngulube said the fact that the competition is no longer predictable has made the competition exciting.<\/p>\n
\u201cDance competitions should not be predictable. We have been giving contestants tasks in the previous seasons and we felt that that limited them. Without the tasks, we have seen a lot of choreography and new routines, which is empowering to the groups,\u201d Ngulube said.<\/p>\n
Ngulube said Kajive was a family event and, as such, they have accommodated artists that will entertain people of all age groups.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe selection of artists such as Lulu, Malinga Mafia, Sangie and Charisma makes Kajive a family entertainment event,\u201d Ngulube said.<\/p>\n
Ngulube said their sponsor, Airtel will also bring in a lot of surprises. Blantyre patrons were given a chance to win various items from Airtel Malawi.<\/p>\n
