{"id":3987,"date":"2015-06-11T08:50:39","date_gmt":"2015-06-11T08:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=3987"},"modified":"2015-06-11T08:50:39","modified_gmt":"2015-06-11T08:50:39","slug":"saa-lowers-london-to-malawi-fares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/06\/11\/saa-lowers-london-to-malawi-fares\/","title":{"rendered":"SAA lowers London to Malawi fares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Malawi Department of Tourism has partnered with South African Airways in a deal that has led to the airline reducing airfares from London to Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>SAA announced on Tuesday that following an agreement with Malawi, it has reduced fares from London to Lilongwe to \u00a3604 for a return air ticket from \u00a3753 previously and to \u00a3624 return flight to Chileka International Airport, down from \u00a3773 previously.<\/p>\n<p>SAA said the discounted fares are valid from now until July 13, 2015, then from August 19 to December 12 and lastly from December 25, 2015 to March 31, 2016 and are meant to enable travelers \u201cexperience the animal kingdoms, beautiful natural attractions and unique culture of Malawi\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMalawi is a wonderful destination for those seeking a variety of experiences in a relatively small geographical area,\u201d says Ian Mushani, tourism attach\u00e9 at the Malawi High Commission in London.<\/p>\n<p>South African Airways offers double daily flights to Johannesburg from London Heathrow\u2019s newest Terminal 2, and onto Lilongwe International Airport five times a week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Malawi Department of Tourism has partnered with South African Airways in a deal that has led to the airline reducing airfares from London to Malawi.
