{"id":39712,"date":"2017-01-27T10:34:58","date_gmt":"2017-01-27T08:34:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=39712"},"modified":"2017-01-27T10:34:59","modified_gmt":"2017-01-27T08:34:59","slug":"cftc-receives-public-service-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/01\/27\/cftc-receives-public-service-award\/","title":{"rendered":"CFTC receives public service award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Capital Hill has awarded the Competition and Fair Trading Commission (CFTC) for its outstanding performance in public service delivery during the 2015\/16 government\u2019s financial year.<\/p>\n<p>The award was presented during the launch of the Managing for Development Results Learning Week which took place on Tuesday at Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n<p>The week\u2014which is themed Embracing a Results Culture\u2014was based on the Organisation Performance Agreement that the Commission signed with the Office of the President and Cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Goodall Gondwe, who presented the awards encouraged the winners, including the commission to keep up the good work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me congratulate all institutions that have won the awards today. I would also like to encourage them and of course others that have not won to work harder to develop this country,\u201d said Gondwe who presented the awards alongside Chief Secretary Lloyd Muhara.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after receiving the award, CFTC Executive Director, Charlotte Malonda, said she was delighted with the award.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have an excellent team at the CFTC. These results show the great efforts by the team.
