After firing their assistant Coach, Mabvuto Lungu, team manager, Rahim Ishmael and goalkeepers\u2019 trainer, Swadick Sanudi, Nyasa Big Bullets have reportedly opened talks with their former coaches Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan and Gilbert Chirwa.<\/p>\n
The People\u2019s Team\u2019s board of trustees, executive and supporters committee members have confirmed discussing over the possibility of hiring Ramadhan and Chirwa.<\/p>\n
Lungu and Ishmael were shown the exit door at Bullets in December, amid reports that the duo was bringing divisions among the players. Ishmael dismissed the allegations.<\/p>\n
Bullets also fired Billy Tewesa as technical director last season and eventually replaced him with their former coach Elia Kananji, who was also sacked at Be Forward Wanderers.<\/p>\n
Bullets\u2019 Trustees General Secretary, Jim Kalua, second vice-Chairperson, Austin Kasito, and Supporters\u2019 Commi t tee Chairperson, Stone Mwamadi, said they would prefer hiring Ramadhan as head coach.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am yet to receive a report from the executive committee, but these are the two coaches we have been talking to,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, Kasito said although some quarters in Bullets\u2019 camp have suggested Chirwa\u2019s name, Ramadhan was more suitable for the job.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe discussed at length about hiring the coach because we need to start preparing for the new season. We are yet to finalise our discussions, but we told our sponsor that we want Ramadhan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mwamadi has since claimed that Bullets\u2019 fans want Ramadhan back. The Burundian was, until recently, a caretaker coach for the Flames.<\/p>\n
Kananji has since said he was waiting to hear from Bullets\u2019 officials if he will continue serving the team.<\/p>\n
