Gregory Madeya, Chairperson of Bullets\u2019 Organising and Electoral Committee, issued a press release yesterday ahead of the club\u2019s annual general meeting, whose agenda includes the elections. Deadline for submission of the nominations is February 1.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is not automatic that when members submit their nomination forms [then they] are eligible to stand. It will be up to the Electoral Committee, with recommendation from the Board of Trustees, to scrutinise each and every candidate,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose aspiring for positions should carefully read and understand the conditions attached to the nomination forms. Members are also being informed that only those with no outstanding issues with the club, Fam [Football Association of Malawi] and Sulom [Super League of Malawi] are eligible to stand.\u201d<\/p>\n
Isaac Osman is among those reportedly interested in challenging the incumbent Stone Mwamadi for the chairmanship of the supporters\u2019 wing.<\/p>\n
The AGM will also determine the prospect of Bullets\u2019 Executive Committee\u2019s elections.<\/p>\n
So far, former Bullets\u2019 chairperson, Kondi Msungama, is reportedly waiting in the wings to challenge incumbent main executive committee\u2019s leader, Noel Lipipa.<\/p>\n
