What happens when a music lover discovers that they have been singing the wrong lines all along?<\/p>\n
In a bid to clear lines of misunderstanding, Times Radio\u2014 a brain-child of Times Group\u2014 has introduced a live studio session in the programme \u2018Ndi Zathu Zomwe\u2019, which airs on Friday from 4pm to 5: 30pm. The session is featuring artists live in the studio, where they are asked to play live.<\/p>\n
The sessions started on Friday when rapper Fredokiss performed live in the studio.<\/p>\n
Speaking in an interview yesterday, \u2018Ndi Zathu Zomwe\u2019 presenter, Fatsani Kalonda, said the idea behind the live sessions is to bring artists closer to their fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom Friday on, we will have live sessions every Friday from 4pm to 5: 30pm. The aim is to bring the artist closer to the audience by giving the listener a chance to throw questions at artists, who will be responding to the questions live.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, the listener should understand that the questions have to be based on topics related to music. For example, the listener will have the opportunity to explain where they do not understand a line in a song and the artist will be able to clarify on such issues,\u201d Kalonda said.<\/p>\n
Kalonda, aka Blak Jak, said artists will also have a chance to elaborate on concepts behind a song.<\/p>\n
\u201cTowards the end of the session, there will be a live performance of songs the listener chooses. In addition, all the activities will be put on camera and beamed on Times Television in \u2018Late Night Party\u2019 programme, which runs from 10: 30 pm to 12 midnight on Friday nights,\u201d Kalonda said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
