South Africa football magazine, Kick-Off \u2019s <\/em>online edition reported yesterday that Chiefs have trimmed the number of trialists from four to two\u2014Gabeya and Italian forward Gustavo Paez.<\/p>\n Kick-Off <\/em>claim that Gabeya has been solid at training, but his signing will depend on Chiefs\u2019 defender, Lorenzo Gordino, passing trials at Danish club, Aalborg BK.<\/p>\n Gabeya and Gustavo have since travelled with the squad for Chiefs\u2019 mid-season camp in Potchefstroom, South Africa.<\/p>\n Commenting on the trials, former Chiefs captain, Patrick Mabedi, said he had no doubt that Gabeya will sign for the Soweto giants.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been talking to him on the phone through the club\u2019s Team Manager [Bobby Motaung] and it seems he is good. Hearing comments from the Chiefs technical panel, Gabeya is outstanding and he has impressed the coach.
