Former Civo United coach Oscar Kaunda is now at Masters Security Services FC as an assistant Coach to Benjamin Kumwenda.<\/p>\n
Kaunda and the club\u2019s owner, Alfred Gangata, on Monday confirmed the development.<\/p>\n
Gangata added that the team will regroup for pre-season training on January 31.<\/p>\n
Kaunda said he was happy to join the newly-promoted team.<\/p>\n
However, the former Karonga United mentor said he was yet to finalise discussions with the club\u2019s officials.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is true that I am now with Masters Security as one of the coaches there. I was approached by their coach Benjamin Kumwenda to help them and I agreed to join them,\u201dKaunda said.<\/p>\n
However, Gangata said the recruitment of Kaunda signals their intention to compete strongly in the Super League.<\/p>\n
\u201cI asked our coach Kumwenda to choose a suitable coach that can be with the team when he is away and he recommended Kaunda,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be working with Kumwenda because we have learnt that our coach will be busy working with Football Association of Malawi\u2019s assignments, so we decided to take another step by hiring Kaunda.\u201d<\/p>\n
