Mzuz-based pugilist Felix Mwamaso outshone Mchinji-based Charles Misanjo on points in a Boxing Day\u2019s eight-round non-title bout held at Obrigado Leisure Centre in Mzuzu.<\/p>\n
This was the second meeting between the two boxers in a month after they exchanged blows at M1 Centrepoint in Lilongwe where Misanjo also lost.<\/p>\n
Misanjo stepped in the boxing ring seeking revenge, but again, he was second best.<\/p>\n
In a post-match interview, Mwamaso made fun his opponent, saying he was tired of defeating him.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the fourth time that I have met him and he has never defeated me. He has tried to challenge me on different venues even in Lilongwe, but to no avail. Today\u2019s bout could have lasted for two rounds only, but he was holding me too much,\u201d Mwamaso said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think that this is the final time I am fighting him. I need someone who can give me a good fight, and that is my plan for 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Misanjo could not concede defeat, saying his opponent takes advantage of home-advantage.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have fought against big boxers\u2026the likes of Walter Kautondolo from Namibia and I lost on points. But the same [Namibian] boxer knocked out Mwamaso in the second round,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
